LOL, that’s my boy Otto.

I’m not refuting any of the content of the film. I have not seen it in its entirety. It may indeed be 100% factual. As far as this story is concerned, I could care less. I’m not defending anyone. I simply do not believe this type of film has any place in the public schools. All it serves to do is open the doors to public schools as political battlegrounds in an idealistic battle for impressionable young minds. That is not what I pay taxes for. If a teacher wants to teach about fraud, campaign finance abuses or other unlawful indiscretions in the context of academia, that’s fine. I have seen enough clips of the film entitled “Hillary Exposed” to clearly see it is not an exercise in academia.

That is not to say I disagree with the film being made. It should have been and I am glad it was. My wife’s boss knows I’m an anti-Hillary person and has sent me several clips from it. Will I sit down and watch the thing all the way through? Probably not. I don’t like Hillary anyway, so what’s the point? I’m capable of doing my own research on her, thanks in large part to info documented on this site.

No offense, doug, I usually enjoy your threads, but I don’t have to quantify my conservatism to you or anyone else. My problem with many of the so-called conservatives on FR is they believe in just as big a government, with just as much power, as liberals, only used for different ends. They will trash a media outlet relentlessly until said outlet publishes something which falls in line with their personal fears or prejudices then believe it without question. I tend to be more objective than that. There is no one source I ever take as God’s honest truth.

And now you’ve dragged poor Otto into it. ;) He’s an angel, by the way.

Mr Apple, I probably am a curious individual. I likely try too hard to be fair, even if it affects me in a negative fashion. I have my opinions about what schools should and should not be used for and to keep true to that, I sometimes have to take positions that do not benefit my ideology.

I appreciate the comments, however, I didn’t appeciate it being called “propaganda, plain and simple.” I stand by the content and accuracy of the film.

No, incorrect. This film sets out an exact set of historical events as they happened during these disasterous Clinton years. It's history, it's what jr high and sr high students should be studying, reading and learning about, along with as much as possible in regards to other current events.

In short L98, it's Keyword: current events/an important part of public school education
