I am unaccustomed to seeing religion subject to ridicule.

It depends on which "religion" you speak of.

Not all are true.

And it isn't "just me" either.

So...you will ask, "What is Truth?"

Pilate asked the same thing.

I just watched a CNN "debate" between Vin Weber, suppoprintg Romney I think and some rat mouthpiece supporting hillary.

It was amazingly funny how both sides agree we can't go on living without a stimulus and how hillary claims that it should all go to the waitresses(that she forgot to tip)and our side want to give it to anyone making less than 200 grand which let's everyone get a piece of the pie instead of just clinton supporters.

It was amusing since the bottom line here is that both sides have agreed that capitalism and free markets don't work and we need big govt. to keep people from falling into the pit and drowning.

Where is RR when we really need him!

The only sub prime problem we have in the US is a sub prime knowledge of capitalism vs. socialism.

On the socialist issues of importance to the ruling elites, e.g. empowering ever-greater government control of individuals through taxation, regulation of lifestyles, etc., and the completion of the transfer of control of the wealth and property of the American people over to that self-same elite, e.g. through open borders demographic revolution, dismantling of national sovereignty through treaties (LOST, Kyoto, etc.), trade agreements (NAU, WTO, etc.), Huckabee is one of them.

Great observations. That's also Bloomberg's program to a tee.

Democrats, and certainly the media, is hoping for a recession to happen. They need issues to bash Republicans over. The surge in Iraq is working so Democrats have had to find something new to complain about and blame others for.

I hesitate in supporting any proposal the Democrats can approve of. Their goal is to hurt America so they can claim to be the party to fix it.

If Democrats really cared what happens, they would make the Bush tax cuts permanent and have more tax cuts. They can’t do that because they are invested in the power of government.

Good post, the biggest problem Romney has is how he will be reinvented by the DBM should he get the nod on our side.

At that point it's all how he handles or gets handled by the DBM. They won't be able to ignore him if he is the nominee.

Thanks, yet again for your “media nuggets,” Anita. Your amazing work provides a fantastic documentation of why the “elite” (e-light) MSM have been in a (well-deserved) tailspin.

Everyone on this thread should read your link to the “semantics” story: a perfect illustration of the “thinking” of a typical MSM moron.

I am appalled by the persistent show of bigotry displayed by several posters in this forum.

So am I NN. What it does is lessen the quality of this thread, as well as any thread.

Many will laugh and chuckle inwardly, but my life is quite complete without participating in "discussion" with these posters.

I once thought as you do regarding, the “McCain as nominee” scenario.

But, then I thought more deeply.

Arbitron is the great power that be in the ratings business.

They issue what are called diaries, or booklets where you list everything you watch or listen to during the week.

(they hate us listening to the web as well) They compile each diary and come up with a ratings scale for say each radio talk show as to how many listeners there are per quarter hour. It's a complex scale and I don't know all the ins and outs of it myself but Arbitron does ratings monthly in big cities, quarterly elsewhere and here in the fab. Fla. Keys yearly, if some one will pick up the tab.

Someone has to grab him [Romney] by the scruff of his neck and tell him that the average listener needs more time between words

That is me to a T, md.... lol. I have to concentrate so hard when he is speaking in order to follow his thoughts. I can't think as fast as he talks!!

Arrogance isn’t your strong suit.

And despite your claims...neither is deep thinking.

Try something different if you want to be viewed as anything other than a sh*t stirring troll aroundhere.

This was in no way intended for you Snugs. I have nothing but admiration for your intellect, humor, and character. I seldom fail to read any of your posts.

I also love how a lot of how the Clintons want to “grow the economy” is to have the government confiscate more peoples’ money and dole it back out in corporate handouts and other forms of “investment”. In the Clinton’s world, the government (meaning them) no better than investors what’s best for the economy. God forbid any private citizen should actually make money by helping our economy.
