I agree that Fred Thompson is the best of the bunch ( with the exception of Duncan Hunter, who has quit the race ).
Unfortunately, the numbers aren’t with him. His 3rd place finish in SC just won’t cut it and he does not have the money or logistics to carry on.
At this point in time, I am open to supporting the next best thing among the remaining gang of 4 ( forget Ron Paul ) — Mitt Romney.
Funny....if you think Fred is the best of the bunch, why does your screen name seem so new to a Fred thread? Do you consider Guiliani one of “the remaining 4”? Why? He’s done nothing anyplace so far. Where are the calls for him to pull out? Didn’t Romney come in 4th in S.C.? Hmmmmm.
The last time I checked on the Federal Elections Comission website, Fred had Waaaaaay more money than Romney. The Romney campaign in fact is in serious debt. Fred is in the black and has millions in reserve.

If you want to see more of something, reward it. Personally, I’ve had more than my fill of candidates like Romney, McCain, Huckabee and Giuliani. I want more candidates like Thompson in the future. So I will reward Fred with my vote, in my primary and in November.
