Ahh, yet another voice telling us to suck it up and vote for the mainstream media choices.

If we ever needed “None of the Above,” we need it now. The USA is scraping the bottom of the barrel for candidates this year.

It is Kristol and his cohorts that have given us no choice but these horribly flawed candidates. Writing apologetics for them do not make them any better.

What we have is an incoming democrat administration considering the front runners we have. It sucks but its a fact.

"For example: John McCain--with a lifetime American Conservative Union rating of 82.3--is allegedly in no way a conservative." -Kristol

That statistic might be very deceptive in light of today's issues. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't John McCain's current ACU rating closer to 60%? That is definitely not conservative.

I'll be voting Fred Thompson, thank you very much.

And should by chance he not be on the ballot on the 29th, I will write him in.

Is there anyone else here who believe, as I do, the Bill Kristol, Dan Quayle's press secretary, has stretched his "Fifteen Minutes" out way too long?

Okay Billy, Captain Queeg, who you've been pushing on us for more than eight years, finally won New Hampshire and South Carolina. Do more to convince me he's most suited among the field to be president, and then Flyover Country to convince people who've never seen a copy of Weekly Standard and convince them. Go for it. Good luck with that.

I am in disagreement. First of all, it is not bad to want a person who reflects Ronald Reagan. We conservatives know we are not voting a Ronald Reagan into office. What we want is someone who will keep America strong and free and mean it and the candidates that are out there just don’t fit the bill. They are not who they say they are; so don’t blame us by trying to educate us simply on your say.

Actually think it's a crap shoot as to who will be president. The Dumbocrats don't like their choices either.

And, in terms of McCain, he's one of the authors of amnesty for illegal aliens... thus, he will NOT get my vote.

Keep feeding us this crap about McCain’s lifetime conservative rating. If the average temperature for your town is 75-degrees, do you mean to tell me that it is still warm when it is 20 degrees? No.

McCain was ONCE a conservative. Now he is not. Only the McCainiacs fail to grasp that point.

Most of these ‘front-running’ Republican candidates are the same people who got us into the mess we’re in!

Interesting that the title paraphrases an (in)famous quote by Rumsfeld.

After Rumsfeld was canned the situation in Iraq improved dramatically.

Kristol is a RINO.

Let me tell you something Billy.

You can call McCain anything you like. Don't make it so. What matters is that he is 100% in favor of HELPING illegal Mexicans enter and stay in this country. He was instrumental in sabotaging Republican efforts to appoint judges that will UPHOLD the Constitution, not use it for toilet paper.

That's what matters. Not what you or any other talking head says.

Consider yourself the latest (deserving) recipient of....

With the lousy choice in politicians we have this year, conservatives are being forced to take a knife to a gun fight against an opponent notorious for fighting dirty.

It’s going to be an electoral college blood-letting come November.

I am getting a little tired of elevating pres Reagan to this super star status by ALL republicans.

To be sure, Reagan was the best president since I arrived in this great country in 1960. But just as a reality check can I list a few things I did not like?

During Reagan’s 8 years-—

> Spending Tripled
> Illegal immigrants were granted full amnesty
> appointed pro-choice people to SCOTUS such as Sandra O’Connor
> 8 Million+ abortions took place (based on Laura Ingrahams figures quoted on her show of 40 million abortions in 35 years)

Now inspite of above, why I think Reagan was the best,
> Engineered collapse of Soviet Union
> Huge Tax cuts
> Misery index dropped precipitously, incl interest rates
> Iran released American hostages almost immediately
> Taught Kaddafi a lesson
> Most of all, American presitige in world grew!

I do not take advice from the open borders crowd or NY Times columnists, or ANYONE listed as conservative on FNC.

Ain’t gonna happen. If I vote for the GOP, since conservatism was my reason to vote for a GOP candidate, if I cannot have that, I am voting for the best looking GOP candidate.

Go Romney!
