I heard this on the radio the other morning and at first I thought they had mailed actual fetuses...and was greatly relieved to hear that that wasn’t true, LOL!
The publicity is good for the cause, but I don’t think mailing these things to people that don’t care/deny/refuse to accept that abortion kills a baby, will sway them anyway.
I’ve asked this before and I’ll ask this again; Why don’t the anti-abortion crowd approach this problem from the angle of pushing ADOPTION, versus stopping abortion? Until we get Roe v. Wade reversed (which I really think could happen with some decent LEADERSHIP in Congress) I’ve always thought that THAT is where the “changing hearts and minds” part could be MUCH more effective.
Convince young women that, yep, you made a HUGE mistake by getting pregnant out of wedlock, but Sweetie! It can be fixed. It’s not the end of your world if you have this child, give it to parents that WANT it and will give it a good life...and then you can go back to college, or high school, or your career, etc. CONVINCE them that ADOPTION Is the noble thing to do. It’s the RIGHT thing to do. It’s the ONLY thing to do!
We also need to involve teen fathers because the hole is going to be in THEIR heart forever and ever Amen, too. And don’t forget the Grandparents. Man, Alive! If I had done this to my parents, they would’ve been CRUSHED to know that I had killed their Grandchild!
I don’t WANT to see even one child killed...but in reality, that horse is so far out of the barn by now that it’s in the next county!
Sad, but true. I think the whole focus of the “campaign” so to speak, needs an excellent Marketing and PR plan. It needs a total re-vamp. It’s too emotional an issue to get anyone to listen to you until we can crack that veneer of the lies that the Left has fed us (and the young women of today) for all of these decades.
Abortion on demand? Oh, that’s in the Constitution! BS, it is!
