OK, never mind, I just googled him. He’s the founder and pastor of the Saddleback Church in California. Very large church, I guess.
Should I know the name of the pastor of every megachurch in the country? I’d get a D- on that test because the only name I’d know is Bill Hybels, and only because I lived very near the Willow Creek Church for many years.

In addition Rick doesn’t think anything of lying to someone like Joseph Farah in an attempt to protect his reputation, and then turning around and smearing Farah and any other detractors publicly, questioning their motives for critiquing his teachings. Incidentally, up through last year he was saying that the ONLY thing that could handle these five big GLOBAL GIANTS was the church... well now he’s changing that... kinda like Animal Farm. He revises as he goes, never acknowledging he was wrong before. (in spite of his insistence that he owns up to his mistakes).
