Watching this commercial makes me so proud I served with world’s finest fighting force. It also reminds me of how Marines let principals guide them and not emotion. It is a good lesson for anyone to learn about life.

Thank you for posting this. I saw it yesterday during one of the football games. Very moving and very classy. I remember hearing the news about San Francisco not allowing the Marines to film there. It looks like Marines out flanked San Francisco's anti Americans by using land owned by the U.S. Government to get the majestic view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
One commenter on Michell Malkin's blog said "The Marines would stand between the enemy and even Americans that despise them without hesitation."
At the Golden Gate Bridge the Marines were standing between the enemy and Americans who love and respect their dedicated service!

Thank you for posting that. It certainly brought tears to my eyes, especially the scene on top of the dam near the end. Reminds me of some Marines on top of another dam in a faraway place...

With all the whining these days, it’s not hard to imagine why some people don’t understand the pride we have, despite the pain and occasional hardships.

I am one of the former Marines interviewed in this. I am the one recounting how many countries I went to! :)

You were where? Which one? And I’m also confused because there are damned few “former Marines”. I know quite a few Marine veterans, however :)
