Olmert wins the milquetoast prize for the day, backing down like that, and inviting Hamas to resume its rocket attacks on Israel.

The EU says Israel is "collectively punishing" the Hamas-run territory. Euroweenies...its not their citizens in small border towns facing the threats of Q-rockets launched helter-skelter into those neighborhoods.

The Israeli government has said it will allow medicines and some power plant fuel into the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, easing a controversial blockade. Yet the rockets being launched into Israel aren't controversial at all.

Gutless. I suppose the rockets into Israel will continue. What was the point in the first place ?

If the rockets keep flying into Israel then Israel should publically announce that they will no longer make incursions into Gaza. Instead, they will stay in their own territory and start launching rockets on Gaza, randomly and at a ratio of 5 to one... for every Q rocket coming from Gaza, Israel will launch 5 of its own unguiided rockets into Gaza. They will land wherever they land.

Israel seems much less concerned with the lives of its citizens than it does about being called nasty names by the UN.
