And what about the moons of Mars as a base. As I understand it, Earth's Moon doesn't have enough "gravity" to support any long term human habitation.
So what do you think the chances of wasting time and money on a "moon" base on either Deimos or Phobos (Leather Goddesses notwithstanding)?
And, Deimos is breaking free of Mars, iirc, and Phobos is spiraling into Mars.
