I’m going to join the Mitt bandwagon.
His performance during the debates has been commendable.
And, honestly, Mitt has less of a problem with religion than Huckabee when it comes to the general electorate.
I say all this as a Fredhead who now sees myself backing Mitt. The truth is sometimes brutal, but it is the truth none the less.
The Clintons will be ruthless and do ALL they can to peel away Evangelicals and mark my words, Mormonism is going to be a VERY big problem for them. It is a huge problem for me theologically, but a no brainer in a head to head with ANY of the 3 Dems.
Good point that Romney has less of an issue on religion than Huck.
The Dems (and McCain) need Huck. Without him, the republican base will solidfy around Romney and we’ll be all set by super tuesday.
Can’t say the same about the dems. Politics is all about the person for them — the principles, the party or the country are all secondary. Obama and Hillary will fight to the end. Will be fun to watch and should help us come November.

You are wrong. His mormonism is a show stopper unless you are from Utah.
I resent the way Huckabee has used his religion to further his political ambitions.
I'm a Baptist who considers him an embarrassment!
