Hillary Clinton defends her husband's role in campaign. (Tom Dashle heads Obama's truth squad)

"...Obama's campaign said it was unbecoming for a former commander-in-chief to be engaging in harsh attacks against a fellow Democrat and some party figures have advised Bill Clinton to tone down his words or risk tarnishing his presidential legacy.

"I think it's not presidential, it's not in keeping with the image of a former president, and I'm frankly surprised that he is taking this approach," said former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle, who has endorsed Obama.

"I think it is important for all of us to participate in a way that raises the level of debate and begins to focus on the things that the American people want us to be addressing," Daschle said in a conference call.

"I think it's a disappointment for many Democrats."

The Obama campaign said it was forming a "truth squad" that would include Daschle to respond to negative attacks from the Clinton team..."

Would that Tom Daschle had been as scrupulous about the truth when Clinton was impeached.

As I remember it, he was about to call on Bill to step down from the Presidency for the good of the nation when he realized how bad that would be for the Democrat Party. That was the moment he changed tactics and began his all out assault on the Republican Party and the truth.

Interisting how flexible Liberals can be with their sense of integrity. ROFL.

ROFLOL! Couldn’t polish up Clinton’s legacy with an industrial strength cloth! Clinton is actually finally showing his true nature. I just can’t believe that the majority of Americans want these two trashy grifters back in our WH!

What the press goes out of its way to ignore is that Clinton is so forceful because he is campaigning for HIS third term, as much as his wife’s first.

Could it be that in Clinton’s mind, he feels he was elected President for life? He lusts to return to the White House and he means to get there through Hillary. When will he realize that only a little more than a third of the voters made him President. One would think we had enough of him. It would be nice if he would just go away, but his ego is sooo big.

The Obama campaign are learning. Slow, but learning.

And the Clinton Attack Machine hasn't even warmed up yet. Heck, Carville didn't even jump on board until last week.

'Bama better wear asbestos underwear -- he's gonna need them.

If someone looked at Hillary’s resume, how many of her jobs did she get because of Bill?

-Rose law firm: maybe not, but Rose law firm got tons of business because of Bill.
-Walmart board: YES, for sure
-cattle futures trader: 1K to 100K bribe: yes
-First lady: yes
-Senator: yes
-Presidential candidate: yes
-Dem nominee if she gets it: yes
-Pres if she wins: yes

She’d probably be out of the running soon if not for Bill

Just how much has this icon of feminism done on her own?

I wish that OBama would keep on repeating that remark he made about sometimes it is hard to know which Clinton he was running against, or words to that effect. The RATS should just admit that Bill Clinton is running for a third term and Hillary is the necessary candidate to get around the 22 amendment which limits the presidency to two terms. Clinton is campaigning for himself and they all know it. Not too late for Tom Daschle to redeem himself by admitting the scam which the Clintons and the RAT party are trying to pull off on the American voter.

I am so glad Bill is back. He has single handedly destroyed his own party for personal gain time and time again. It’s always about HIM.

And it looks like he will do it again. He will lie, cheat, and steal for personal gain and power. He will slander his best friends and screw over his own people at the drop of a hat.
He will screw the democrats in ways that you and I can only dream of!

So thank you Bill Clinton, you have never let me down.

I’m not sure what Radiohead it was - but said Dick Morris had an article on the Clinton Campaign today. Taken from the earlier playbook from Bill’s run. The spouse (this time Bill) says something that provokes and takes the heat away from the candidate (Hillary). Also, when Bill makes news - it takes away from Obama’s chances to make page 1.

Little Tommy Daschle will have many things about which to be “deeply disappointed” (anyone save that old graphic?)
