I was so naive.
I am stupid.

The ruthless exploitation of her naivete shows the dark underside of the hawking of the American dream.
The natural result of boundless stupidity is disastrous.

I cannot believe the left-wing hand-wringing analysis of this idiocy.

Stupid people pi$$ away money foolishly and cry that it was somebody else's fault. Woe is me.

What a waste of ink. Too bad that the taxpayers will bail this nincompoop out and enable her to do even stupider things with her ill-gotten gains in the future.

This is where the Democratic Party is leading us. Dumbed down students who are indoctrinated with a hatred of capitalism and urged into unprotected sex, totally dependent on government for food, housing and anything else. It’s easy for many to condemn this woman, but the seeds were sown during the FDR years and took sprout during the LBJ years. The Democrats will use her as an example of what happens when you stray from the plantation. Democrats have destroyed black families, black dignity and black esteem. And they’re working on the rest of us right now.

Darnellas Caldwell tries to reach her mortgage company on an October day last year, to find out exactly when she has to vacate her home.

I live in a trailer park. It’s atypical. It’s nice and it’s a controlled environment with clean, hard-working people. (No cars on blocks, no trailers without skirting, lawns landscaped and kept mowed, no trash stacked in driveways, etc.)

I’ve been here for 16 years. About 12 years ago I noticed a lot of empty lots appearing and not being filled as people moved out to houses that they thought meant better times. I kept hearing “no interest, or “low interest” and “no down payment”.

Trailers are beginning to move in again. Signs of idiots who were sold a “bill of goods”.

“Only the man who does not need it, is fit to inherit wealth—the man who would make his own fortune no matter where he started. If an heir is equal to his money, it serves him; if not, it destroys him.” —Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged.

Man or man is the ‘money speech’ sounding loud and clear today.

A typical Cleveland-area family is spending less of its income on food, but more on housing and entertainment than its counter-part in 1950, according to the U. S. Dpeartment of Labor.

******

In fiscal year 2008, Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas brought in 96 pork projects worth $196.3 million.

It sounds like we have Senators who spend like this woman only it’s OUR MONEY she is spending!!!

Notice she still has her Ifiniti SUV though (and with a handicapped placard on the rearview mirrow).

And the fact is she probably wouldn’t get around to voting, either, if it weren’t for the walking around money, free food in the free vans to the polls, and so on.

She was a teenage mom and so was her daughter

I saw no mention of a daughter or daughter in law so that means her sons are deadbeat dads

Here in the Memphis area, I wonder at times how many can’t pay for their house, because the payment was spent down at the casinos in Tunica?

If she had peeling Aluminum siding (vinyl?) and the roof buckled, sounds like she has foundation problems. Maybe she should have had the house checked before buying.

“Huh?!!” “Whats a fawndatin??”

Missed out on the HS economics class that teaches people how to balance checkbooks, have a budget, and...

I did that in middle school, the sixth grade to be exact.

I don't think anything makes me more furious than an obviously able body using the handicapped placard! Lazy *ss is more like it, shacked up with her 'boyfriend/sperm donor'.

Yeah, let's bail her out. /s

A great deal of inner peaces comes from living within one’s means.

I know a doctor who pulls over $300k a year, yet he’s always desperately broke/on the edge and full of anxiety due to his lavish spending habits.

Darnellas Caldwell tries to reach her mortgage company on an October day last year, to find out exactly when she has to vacate her home.

It was late when I responded to this last night, so I re-read it again. I'm pretty sure the facts state that she gave up ownership of the house before any loans were ever given. Therefore, the reporter is deliberately misleading the readers in stating that the house was hers, and that she took a mortgage out on it.

I'll be surprised if the mortgage company even discussed this with her, knowing she wasn't the person who took out the loan.

Somebody please correct me if I'm not understanding this.

If she payed cash for the home she may not have bothered with homeowner’s insurance. It’s not required unless one has a mortgage.
