The guy is traveling non-stop during this campaign. I’m sure he’s rather exhausted. He substituted the name Putin for the name of the leader of Germany. I’ve done similar things from time to time without even realizing it, and not even actually thinking of the name of the person I was inserting in place of the right name.
John is a loon, but this isn’t necessarily proof of it.
I think he was talking about Putin. He had just said the word "Germany" and repeated it when he obviously meant Russia. This is not the way to attack McCain.
The thing is, the MSM will cover it up for McCain, whereas if it was a Romney (or Thompson) they would have been all over it.
