Well given that Jeffery Dahmer and Ed Gein started their careers with dogs, Mike Huckabee's motivation for seeking the Presidency is now clear.

He wants to possess the authority to pardon his son when the need arises.

I don’t know about all of that... but I do KNOW that huckster was a horrible father figure when he covered up for his son... and his son is a troubled youth to this day. He also was recently busted carrying a glock and a loaded mag onto a plane. He shown poor judgment, crony ism and a lack of leadership when he covered up for his son and then fired the man that would decide if the case against his son would move forward. huck also tried the lame excuse for what his son had done... of the dog having mange ... and then trying to spin it as a humane put down of a suffering animal... a suffering animal that was hung by it’s neck, had it’s throat slit with a knife and then was pummeled by rocks until dead.
