Romney has some big flaws, but I don’t agree with you that he is weak on immigration (meaning I assume illegal immigration).

He has said he doesn’t want the illegals to stay under any kind of special visa, that allowing them legal residency would just encourage more to come.

So, what aspect of illegal immigration is he weak on in your view?

Anything short of DEPORTATION of illegal invaders is AMNESTY! He’s nothing more than a pandering fool....

“My own view is, those people who come illegally, should be able to sign up for permanent residency.” Dec. 16, ‘07

“I don’t believe in rounding up 11 million people and forcing them at gunpoint from our country,” Romney said in the March 30, 2006 Lowell Sun. “[T]hose that are here paying taxes and not taking government benefits should begin a process towards application for citizenship, as they would from their home country.”

NO THEY SHOULDN’T! THEY SHOULD BE SENT HOME! THEY DID NOT RESPECT THE LAW TO GET HERE THE LEGAL WAY!

What did FLIP Romney actually do while in MA? His “tough stance” was enacted weeks before leaving office and was never implemented by his successor.

This thread is starting to make me see sick. Anyhow, one final note on Brett Doster. He's against embryonic stem cell research.

All the state legislators should be paying attention to recent news that has showed groundbreaking research in those therapies and cures related to adult stem cells," said Brett Doster, director of Citizens for Science and Ethics, which opposes embryonic stem cell research. "It's foolish to head down that road (of embryonic stem cells) when science is showing us we need to focus on those cures and therapies that work now."

When it comes to illegal aliens, Mitt Romney is much, much better on this issue than the others.
