The entire history of endorsements show they are not worth much. Voters don't pay much attention to endorsements candidates make when they drop out. When a candidate drops out his supporters know that they chose a candidate who could not win the support of enough voters to stay in the race.

People just do not follow a loser's advice.

The most an endorsement can achieve is get some air time for the loser and perhaps for the candidate that he endorses.

People have a choice, blame themselves for picking a loser or blame the loser for not being a better candidate.

Guess which one most voters select.

I blame others who are not as smart as I to be able to clearly see who is the best candidate.
