Dole wasn’t really liberal like McCain, he was just a weak candidate who lacked charisma.
BINGO! This info keeps eluding me, this time I’m going to create a file. There’s much more than meets the eye with this man.
There will always be a few. I recall a poll of John Kerry’s fellow Swift Boat vets that had 274 against him and 14 for him.
McCain may be Dole but Mitt is John Kerry all over again.
And Huckabee is Carter.
So I’ll take Dole.
McCain will destroy Hillary on the war issue. She wants to ‘resolve’ the conflict in Afganistan now. She is determined to lose. And that would be a winning issue for McCain.
I’m with you. Let me put it bluntly: ANYBODY but anti-gun, anti-political-speech, anti-tax-cut D-iRC (Democra# in Republican’s clothing) MSM-wh### McCain.
Want more blunt? ef McCain!
“spelled the General’s surname correctly!”
Right you are! I knew it looked odd.
Good thing I posted twice. :-)
I love it when McCain calls the United States “her.” He is intensely patriotic. He is resolute on the Iraq war. But he has been wrong on too many issues for too long. The cyncical side of me thinks that he has been wrong on many issues to endear himself to the media and to prepare himself for this run at the White House. Whatever his motivation, his position on too many issues is wrong.
I cast my vote for Romney today in Florida.
You forgot McAmnesty...
Thanks to you and all who responded to this letter, especially the Vets. The truth needs to get out there before Super Tuesday.
FYI, my dad is recovering well, no thanks to McCain or the VA.

USMC Vet
Unfortunately, my wife has already voted for him.
:(
Somebody knows the truth. I expect some sort of SwiftPOW group to come forward if McCain gets the nomination. He’ll be John Kerryed in no time. He’s damaged goods on so many fronts I can’t believe anyone would vote for him. This vet certainly won’t.
McCain’s status as a veteran is a given. His status as a war hero is uncertain. There are some former POWs who believe McCain received special treatment because he was an admiral’s son and because he was willing to make public appearances demonstrating how well the POWs were treated.
I suspect if he is the nominee, they will come forward in greater numbers and he will be discredited just like Kerry was.
Fred could have beaten either. He quit before the real voting started, though I can't blame him with the downers the MSM were loading on. Fred and the voters both caved to media.

Really now, and your evidence is what? I have not heard one word or action out of McCain that demonstrates he is opposed to anything that Hillary does or says. He in fact has demonstrated the exact opposite.
Oh, Oh, now he was opposed to her memorializing 'Woodstock' but that was because he was other wise occupied.
Voting for McCain destroys what remains of our sovreignty!
