I should have some weed. Maybe then I’ll understand what you’re talking about.
Sadly true.
So then Hunter is just another pharasee like Huck?
I agree totally.
I think the reaction to Hunter’s endorsement of Huckabee has been very much an OVER-reaction.
The remaining GOP candidate choices are not that great, and I think Hunter in his wisdom has tried to bring new focus to who he feels would be the best choice of the existing candidates at this point.
For any of us die-hard Hunter supporters, any one of the remaining candidates is going to involve compromise of our principles, compared to Hunter.
I STILL have the greatest respect for Congressman Hunter, and would support him again in a heartbeat. I value his opinion.
DH is a man of integrity--I am willing to hear all of his reasons
He will be on radio this afternoon on WFTL's Joyce Kaufman Show from what I have heard
Teddy, how do you think Reagan would’ve fared in 68/72/76/80 if the blogosphere had existed then?
Your post #18.
I agree with people dumping on Duncan Hunter so quickly. I still believe in Hunter and would vote for him if I could. However, He was only around Huckabee during the debates and I can see why he endorsed him with only that info. However, I will vote for Romney over Huckabee. I’m in Arkansas and voted from Huckabee in the past......but will never vote for him again.
I believe the reason Hunter didn’t do well was because people had never even heard of him.
When I mention his name, people say who is he? The media didn’t talk about him.
He should have written a book and gone around the country at book signings before running. But, he was busy trying to protect our country.
I still believe in him.
“Im in Arkansas and voted from Huckabee in the past......but will never vote for him again.”
That is very interesting. I have a brother transplanted from OK to AR and he and his wife think very highly of Huckabee.
Other than posting links to newspaper articles, etc. I would like to hear your reasons for changing your mind about Mike. Most people will have some key reason they dislike a candidate.
I was reading today about the GOP in AR was mad at Huckabee. Based on the story, it appears they were all whining how he basically told them, “It’s my way or the highway.” Which are essentially earmarks of a strong Chief Executive. Of course, it really is a matter of perception and opinion.
Please God, don’t let Thompson now back McPain!!!
AR GOP is so weak that no one will run for the U.S. Senate there in 2008. Maybe Huck should run for the Senate once again.
It depends on whether the grass roots back then could have been aroused for Reagan. Now the grass roots seem so dormant as to not exist. So many Republican voters just defer to the liberal party apparatus.
When he ran for governor, I went door-to-door, donated money, etc for him.
When he pardoned the murderers, he was very caring for them, but he treated the victims’ families with disrespect along with the ones of us who made calls against the pardons and his stand on illegals.
Also, he did sooooooo much for the illegals and was way too close to Lulac leaders. He gets his advice from CRF on foreign affairs. The list goes on and on. I think being governor went to his head and he thinks he is better than the rest of us.
There are lots of information you can google for or search on this site.
Which RINO should Duncan Hunter have endorsed?
