I had this discussion with a friend the other night. He said that a Hillary presidency must be avoided at all costs. I agreed, but pointed out that there are worse things, IMO. Like the Republican party moving so drastically to the left in 2008 that it is unable to function as a viable alternative to the Democrats in future elections.

In the end, neither of us could come up with any answers, just a lot of frustration and a wish that someone conservative will join the race somehow.

I wonder if that is completely out of the question at this point?
