Steve Forbes is an “elitist” Republican who truly believes in amnesty for illegal immigrants for cheap labor purposes.

"Geef the peeples backa their money, but take away their guns, kill their babies, open their borders, and let the homos teach their kids in school."

I like Steve Forbes, but he's wrong on this guy.

Nothing new. He just basically stole Fred’s plan and put a few more words in. Now he wishes to try draw votes from Fred’s supporters, which is why he said, “now that Fred Thompson is out of the race....”. Too late for that now, he’s toast, done, gone, kaput.

Say what you want about Rudy, but I suspect when the cards are down and the chickens are home to roost, he’s the only one of our candidates who can get down there in the gutter with the HillBillies and fight them on their own lever. Absent that ability, as evidenced by some of the things the very people who oppose him cite as reasons not to support him, are the very traits that will give the ability to defeat Clinton et al.

The biggest threat to our country right now is not terrorism, the economy or even illegal immigration. Granted they are all very serious consideration, but the biggest threat is another four, or God forbid (literally), eight years of the Clintons.

Regardless of how you feel about abortion or the wall or gun control, you name it, it won’t matter if Clinton gets the presidency, every one of those problems will instantly go up three or four notches in threat level.

Rudy might be the favorite of everyone, maybe not even more than few, but if we don’t put someone on the battle field that can go with the Clintons toe to toe, head to head, then we’ll have to wait at least four years for our next chance.

I am listening very carefully to what Rudy has to say.

“Prized deductions for mortgage payments, state and local taxes, charitable contributions, and child tax credits will all be preserved on the FAST Form.”

Oh, yippee ! Let’s continue taxing some people at up to 30% so we can leave others (with enough social engineering “deductions”) with a 0% tax rate. People CHOOSE to have a mortgage vs. rent. People CHOOSE to live in one state over another. People CHOOSE to give to charity. People CHOOSE to have children or not. It isn’t the government’s business to favor some choices over others. Have we all lost sight of the fact that giving up all this favoritism would allow for a simple 10% income tax rate for everybody ??

“Mr. Giuliani’s reforms also include a trio of tax-free savings vehicles to encourage middle-class saving: a retirement savings account; a general-purpose lifetime savings account; and a lifetime skills account (for training and education). All three would function as Roth-style accounts (funded with after tax income, but subject to no taxes upon withdrawal), and would be available to all Americans, regardless of income level.

The retirement savings account and the lifetime savings account would have $5,000 annual limits per individual, and the lifetime skills account would have a $1,000 annual limit, with an available employer match.”

So we go from 401k pre-tax savings allowed of up to $20,500 per year to a Roth-style maximum of $12,000 per year ?

Am I supposed to be surprised that a swishy degenerate elitist like Steve Forbes has the hots for Rudy?

I give this about as much credence as I gave Bill Clinton's promise of a middle class tax cut in 1991. It's pure pandering by a liberal candidate trying to win conservative votes.

Shooo, Rudy.
