Maybe MN should elect “Pranken Al” Franken to the position of court jester.

I was at CPAC the year that Franken was being interviewed and got upset when Michael Medved wanted to do an interview with him and John O'Neill. He threw a chair, which wound up hitting a talk show host from Fox Radio.
Quiet a few FReepers saw it, since he was being interviewed right in front of the FReeper display.

$10 says Franken carries the Range, Mpls and St. Paul. Coleman will take the suburbs, western and southern MN.

Yes, I’ll give you the cities, and possibly Saint Louis Park, but he might have trouble in Da Range. His elitist liberal attitude doesn’t fly well in a place full of Reagan Democrats like the Iron Range.

I dunno. Da Range has always voted Lib. They turned out for Wellstone something like 80 or 90 percent...

Franken was into weightlifting and bodybuilding for years. The behaviors noted remind me of “roid rage.” Reporters worthy of the name would be inquiring about this. But we seem to be fresh out of those.

Yup. They just never grew up.

Hmmm. Cocaine and ‘roids. Clearly a bad combination. Particularly when mixed with an egomaniacal halfwit like Franken. That boy’s rage will take him down eventually. It will be fun to watch though.
His show on the defunct ErrAmerica wasn’t just not funny, it was painful. “Oi, oi, oi” skits left you staring dumbfounded at your radio.
I hope MN has had its fill of experimental politicians.
