Out of electricity in South Africa. No coal to run electric generators. This is said to lower S Africa's GDP by up to a full percentage point for 2008.
Of course, I'm long silver and gold, so the record prices are thrilling me. I'm glad I don't own S African mining stocks this morning though, they are being clobbered.
