On would hope that a Catholic hospital would close its ER rather than obey such a law.I just saw a piece on a Connecticut TV station about two hospitals in Waterbury...one Catholic and the other not...being essentially forced by the state to merge.An administrator for the Catholic hospital said that the issue of abortions in the soon-to-be merged hospitals is one that needed to be worked out.He was very vague on the matter.
