I find this whole thing amusing. How many times did we hear in the 90’s about how much talk radio and Rush in particular needed the Clinton’s in the White House so that he would have something to complain about. After Clinton left the White House didn’t we hear many leftist chided conservative talk show hosts for not having anything to talk about now that the Clinton’s was not in the White House. Now they want us to believe that just because McCain won a few primary’s where independents can crossover that that means to talk radio is dying. BTW since talk radio is dying (supposedly) I geuss that would eliminate the need for the “fairness” doctrine. Right?
Got to remember that the first “real” close primary election is coming up with Florida, and no independents will be allowed to vote.
As far as talkradio fading, if that is the case, then why the powerful ratings numbers?
