If Paul wasn’t a moonbat on the war, I’d support him. I like everything else I’ve heard him say, but the war’s a deal breaker.

Fred Thompson is still on my ballot and I’m voting for him anyway.

The war is maybe the only thing I don’t agree with him on. I disagree with the others far more.

Same here. I have strong libertarian leanings, but Paul is way off base on foreign policy. Plus there just something about the guy that kinda bothers me.

If Paul wasn’t a moonbat on the war

His opinions on the war is shared by over two-thirds of the country. How are the other RINOs going to get these votes?

With Paul, the war stand is neutralized with Hillary, who doesn't have any credibility. He'll be able to pull off a huge chunk of her base in the general election.

Furthermore, Paul would still leave behind a contingent of troops to keep going after bin Laden.

Good! I've been elected as a delegate, from my precinct, to my county convention. I intend to keep supporting Fred. He might have dropped out of the race, but he could still bring some delegates to the national convention.

"Fred Thompson is still on my ballot and I’m voting for him anyway."

That's the kind of thinking that will have us choosing between McSenator, and Ms. Senator. Please don't do it. We have a viable candidate in Romney; not perfect, but better than any of the rest that remain.

Ron's real problem is not necessarily his position on the war, but his naivete on the threat of radical Islam.

I don't know that Paul's a moonbat on the war. By his own description (and it matches his voting record, I think) he'd be a "Constitutionalist."

"Congress shall have power to ... declare War."

I am open to correction.

since nobody left will (by their past record - not current claims) close the border, they're all bad on the war. This war is with fundamentalist Islam, not a couple of countries on another continent. That said you're right Ron Paul's a moonbat.

Let's hope for a brokered convention, and a new candidate that doesn't cause some major conservative faction to stay home. All four remaining Republicans cause someone to stay home, and the bleating of their partisans about other's principled opposition to their chosen Rino gets old.

And not just a 'run-of-the-mill' moonbat a full blown 'Michael-Moore-Cindy-Sheehan' Conspiracy Theorist Moonbat
