President Hugo Chavez on Friday accused neighboring Colombia of plotting a military attack against his government with US support.
"A military aggression against Venezuela is being prepared" by Colombia, Chavez said. He warned Colombia not to attempt "a provocation against Venezuela" and said his country would cut off all oil exports if there is a military strike.
Chavez buying all those weapons and buiolding such a large "Defense Force", that eventually, when his money and popularity started running thin, he was going to have to attack a neighbor(s)..to keep his own people from turning those guns on him!

Good grief. Whatta Maroon! They say history repeats itself, first as tragedy then as farce. Castro was the tragedy, Chavez is the farce.
Dadgummit... We wanted to be first. Hugo told us so, just a few months ago. And, those coca leaves he chews wouldn’t mess up his perception of reality, would they?

Might be his Waterloo. Of course, he’s accused everyone else of plotting against him, so I’m surprised it took so long to accuse Colombia.
According to Fox cable news tonight, he also wants a big piece of Guyana, as well.
Why doesn’t someone shoot this idiot and put him out of his paranoid misery? The way he prances around and pontificates, reminds me of Mussolini. One can only hope he meets the same fate.
