Reading Lewinsky’s remarks actually made me feel sorry for her for the first time. Thanks for the eye-opener.

I felt sorry for her at the time. She was way out of her league, playing with a master of manipulation and deceit. She was looking for a committment and he wanted not so much her but the thrill of a dangerous bit on the side. She was young and extremely foolish, no excuses for that; BUT he was supposedly an adult, the Leader of the Free World. In reality he was a low-life thrill seeking predator.

Watch the video of her being hugged by him after he won reelection in Nov 1996. She is dressed similarly to him amid a sea of white t-shirt wearing supporters and if you notice she turns to be by his side, looking at him as an adoring wife would do. She was imagining how it would be to be his wife. I have a feeling they had an interesting discussion about the event before it happened. I love you baby, it’ll be us and our secret. Thrilling for each of them in totally different ways.
