I AGREE WITH PEGGY. While I think G.W. did some good things (appointing Roberts and Alito to the SCOTUS)he has basically been a disaster this second term.

Big Government, big spending, open borders, etc., etc., etc. I just wish there was some way he could do “DAMAGE CONTROL” in his State of the Union Speech Monday night.

Probably won’t happen.

President Reagan didn’t close the borders either, because he was dedicated, free market capitalist - like President Bush - and the party didn’t self destruct.

I believe “globalism” in it’s present definition was coined after he left office, but could be wrong: maybe it’s just that it’s being slung around almost as much as “divisive” nowadays. Seems that, if it had been much in use then, that tag would have fitted President Reagan just as much as either President Bush.

Not matter the things our President Bush HASN allowed, he HASN’T ALLOWED ISLAM THE PRIVILEDGE OF HITTING US AGAIN IN OUR HOMELAND.. YA’LL DON’T THINK OF THAT. I’m a Bush Backer and I really regret those out there who look only at the negative reports from the screaming media.

Even if it’s true that W was a disaster, I’m still looking for how to pin the blame for the state of the GOP race on him.
