The most corrupt body in the USA. The US Senate.
Why we ever even consider Senators as candidates for President is a mystery. You don’t get leadership. you get lies, corruption, arrogance and “go along get along”. McKeating is a case in point.
Mark Twain didn’t care much for Congress. Two quotations from his writings:
“It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress.”
and
“Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.”
Term limits would change everything.
