In American cases, this was supposedly from exercises by the US NavyOf course, I'm sure that now environmental groups will hasten to apologize to the Navy for slandering it.

I wish those dolphins would attack me.

Kind of what we get when we idolize nature. The difference between us and dolphins is most of us, fortunately, think killing other humans is wrong, unless they are a danger to us, those we care about, or human society - dolphins don’t live in the same ethical construct.
I was a zoo volunteer about 20 years ago when Jane Goodall discovered that chimpanzees kill one another in tribal disputes or chimp young of rivals, and I think I recall that some did it apparently just because they felt like it. She was surprised and very upset about it.

Come on now, we all know it is caused by global warming. And guess who causes global warming?
Ergo, Q.E.D., it's Bush's fault.

Jane Goodall discovered that chimpanzees kill .... She was surprised and very upset about it. Got a little too close, did she?
How did she die, by the way? I was trying to remember.
Or am I thinking of someone else?

What happened to “So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish”??????

You forgot to use the article’s descriptor: “peace loving.”
Funny how dolphins are so much like humans according to marine “experts” and yet, babies in the womb are just tissue.

Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy:
So long and thanks for all the fish! Methinks Earth is about to be obliterated to make way for an intergalactic freeway. This manifestation of dolphin aggression is just associated with the stress of making the move "off planet."
I wish the Miami Dolphins would get this aggressive. Maybe they'd have a longer season.

You’re thinking of Diane Fossey the gorilla woman. She got done in by locals with machetes.
