Gwyneth Paltrow has vowed to stay away from the US.
The actress' Coldplay star husband Chris Martin was involved in a scuffle with a paparazzo last week shortly after Gwyneth left a New York hospital where she had been treated for a gastrointestinal problem.
The Los Angeles-born star - who mainly lives in the UK now with her British spouse and their two children, daughter Apple and son Moses - was so shaken up by the incident she has decided not to go back to her home country unless she "absolutely has to".
A source close to Gwyneth said: "She told me, 'I won't cross the pond, unless I absolutely have to for work.' Gwyneth was truly frightened by the intensity of the whole thing.
"She was feeling really fragile at that time and didn't need to face that."
The incident - which was caught on camera - saw Chris wrestle the photographer to the floor and take his camera, before handing it back to the snapper after he grabbed the musician from behind.
Gwyneth reportedly shouted at the shutterbug: "Are you crazy? I'm not Britney Spears!"

Let’s see. She’s an “actress”. Likes the good life. Where can she make the money? Guess she’ll “absolutely have to” come back to the old U.S of A. Too bad we’ll let her in.

...shouted at the shutterbug: "Are you crazy? I'm not Britney Spears!" You can criticize Ms Spears all you want but at least she's never shown signs of sedition or treason.
Call her a borderline sociopath. But she's our borderline sociopath.

She'll be back if she has another baby. That way she can take advantage of our superior medical care, like she did the last time she gave birth. Notice her husband was being treated at a New York hospital.

I’m no fan of Gwenneth’s, but in all fairness, they do have much more stringent laws over there regarding what photographers can and can’t do, so that’s probably why she said what she said.

As to the paparazzi, in the US, Britney ran over a guy's foot, in Europe, uh, what happened to Lady Di(e)?

And hearing her talk, so whiny and monotone.

she had been treated for a gastrointestinal problem. Once physicians had extracted her head, the problem went away.
"Worst case of cranial rectitus I've seen since Sean Penn came to the free clinic a coupla years ago," the treating physician reported.

She can stay away forever for all I care.

Well, I just wonder why she wasn’t treated in a hospital in Britain? Maybe the wait was too long. Maybe cuz of the Muzzie docs. And now she blames the US for the paparazzi?? She can STAY in England.

Ah the power of the greenback wins out over all.
I recently read that Ms. Paltrow and her sissy-boy hubby are having marital issues (I'll try to find the link).

In the words of Gwyneth’s former boyfried Brad Pitt: “WILL YOU JUST SHUDDDDDUP!!!!”
To: mountn man
I suspect Gwenny's always hated the fact that she's from America, even though she was born into luxury as the daughter of a famous actress and a movie director and had all the doors opened for her that other people with more talent have to knock down to get a break. Note that she married a Brit, moved to London and even talks in that fake British accent that pretentious Americans adopt to distance themselves from their roots (who else from California refers to a country on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean as "across the pond?" Other than Madonna, of course, whose fake British accent by way of Detroit makes her sound like she's speaking Esperanto.)
Spoiled Anglophilic celebrities like this are constantly badmouthing America because they wish they'd been born in Britain, so they could be real princesses instead of the fantasy princesses they believe themselves to be. Ironically in Gwen's case, if she really were a princess from England, the UK paparazzi would've chased her car into a light pole by now.
