IM WRITING HIM IN!! I will have at least cast my vote in good conscience. I think instead of wasting our time on the McCain/Huckabee trolls we should be talking to those who say they are sitting things out to write in Fred Thompson. Its SHAMEFUL for them to BRAG about staying home when so many of our men and women have DIED so they have the luxury of casting their vote. I have NO admiration for those who say they will not vote for anyone just because they didnt get the candidate they wanted. I WILL VOTE...just not the way the GOP/MSM/CountryClubbers wants me to...

I’m with you....when this election season started last Fall I swore I was NOT going to vote for the lesser of 2 evils..really never dreaming we true Conservatives would find ourselves looking at shameless McCain coming from nowhere and being crammed down our throats by the media....they are sooo in love with him...no, I take that back...even if he’d get elected, the libs know they could very easily live with him as Pres....heck, he’s farther left than the left leaning Dem. candidates themselves. I voted for George Bush TWICE, both times holding my nose as I would never vote for Gore or Kerry....and look what I got for my vote...I’ve never felt so betrayed by a President in all my years. I was behind Mr. Thompson from the time I heard he might run..he may not have been the "perfect" Conservative, but I could sure support him whole heartedly and I did... I hold no ill will towards him..rather I understand his pulling out, but I'm sure sorry he's gone from the picture ...that being said, I wish him and his family all the best. I think it's pretty apparent the fix is in...the winner will be who the Republican National Committee , the Democrate Committee and the main stream media have chosen...guess I'm jaded enough when it comes to this gov. and I think it's so thru and thru crooked, it'll do anything and CAN to see their long range plans stay on track.
