I wouldn’t do it. If he’s their guy the general election will focus 100% on Islam. The philosophical tenants will be thoroughly discussed involving the idea that being born to a Muslim fathered family automatically makes descendants a muslim. They are born into the slavery and there’s no debate. So he’s a muslim apostate and all that comes it. That’ll be the entire election focus. Should be fun.

Up to this point the powers that be have pretty much held this card. But it’s there and all it takes is for the press to pick up on it. He’s a muslim and he hasn’t addressed directly his apostate status. I’d love to have a true apostate telling the rest of the muslim world you aren’t automatically a muslim because you are born into a muslim household. See that’s the whole argument, everything. In the west you have choice and in the muslim word you’re fate is decided before you are born. To act in any way contrary to this fate is to be blasphemous to your maker. That make you a criminal in Muslim society.

I was not serious about crossing over. We do not have open primaries, and it’s too late to change parties. I wouldn’t vote for any of the RATS in the general election. Nor would hubby.

Nonsense. How many voters still adhere to the religion of their fathers or grandfathers?
