Caroline Kennedy also endorsed Obama. This really looks bad on Hillary, folks. I’m thinking the Dems finally see a way to get the Clintons out of there.

I wonder if Fat Ted is following Caroline’s lead, or if she got his permission first. Which one wears the pants in that family nowadays?

Yeah, you're right. It was all those Republicans in Masschusetts who elected him Governor. LOL!

If you believe that the voters of the People's Republic of Taxachusetts are representative of the entire country, there is probably no talking sense to you. Not to mention that Romney didn't run in MA as a faux conservative. He ran as his true liberal-to-moderate self.

He runs very poorly among independents in the rest of the country. Deny it at your own risk.

P.S. He loses MA to Hillary. In a McCain-Obama race, McCain is competitive.

Health care is a complex set of oligarchies IMHO.

The John Edwards types who sue doctors(or anyone associated who has a few bucks) and build huge mansions with the residues have created a we don't dare make a mistake or we are screwed, mentality with many doctors.

Here is S. Fla. many doctors are dropping out(the ones that are left) due to $100,000 mal practice insurance bills, but since the trial lawyers and others run the DNC you don't ever hear about it. After all it our jobs to just pay dramatic costs for aspirin and $20 doctor visits can now run $500 and keep our mouths shut or our carriers will cancel us,and don't dare have a claim either.

Of course is in S.fla. its much more equal opportunity, everyone here is crooked!!

The doctors (those that are licensed) co-opt with ambulance chasers to create fake accidents by the hundred bilking insurance companies out of millions and handing the bills to us.

The free enterprise system has bypassed the health care system courtesy of bad govt., little enforcement and a cradle to grave mentality by many. Not to mention illegals gaming the system for every last dime and than complaining there wasn't enough there to begin with as the last local ER close its doors forever!!,p> Uhhh.... sorry JM, guess you touched a nerve....

The pro-gun wing is as big or bigger than the pro-life is. That is the reason I think Romney or Rooty nomination = Landslide loss in Nov.

I think most reasonable pro-lifers will see that Mitt is campaigning against Roe v. Wade and I think most reasonable pro-lifers will support Mitt in November.

Watching CNN after the debate the other night, I heard a voice-over going to break: “Tune in for President Clinton’s State of the Union Address”.

Is that the State of the Union Address he gave in 1998, in which he blasts Saddam Hussein as a threat to civilization, who must be absolutely and irrevocably disarmed? Maybe they should replay excerpts.

I can’t argue with your assessment, it’s very good.

But, can you argue that democrats aren’t saps for emotional rhetoric? Or that the mushy middle can’t be swayed by an inspirational speaker?

Obama is all of that and more: His blackness taps into white guilt — or call it a byproduct of political correctness, if you will.

Lynn Cheney will endorse Mitt Romney That's LIZ Cheney, his daughter and co-chairman of the Thompson campaign.

Intersting. I think at some point Fred will support Mitt.

Huckabee reminds me of the campbells soup comercial. The one with the chef pondering sea salt.

Brilliant post here P.

This is something that won't show up in polls either, personal prejudices, and there are many.

Just because someone tells a pollster he would never hold a persons race or religion against them does not mean it's true. Stuff like this just does not come out in polling IMHO.

Apparently that was just a typical Kerry campaign worker shooting his mouth off without knowing what he was talking about.

Bush’s people had the same data and were sure they had carried Ohio. They were correct.

If you don’t think polls are useful, do you really think the gut instincts of FReepers have better predictive value? Look at all the people here who scoffed at the polls and insisted we’d hold the House and Senate in 2006.

So much for FReeper instincts.
