rodguy, I have a theory about this.

If they push the race thing too much, they are going to alienate blacks. Moe importantly, just because Obama loses a vote doesn’t mean that Hillary will gain it.

It is my belief that most guys who won’t vote for Obama due to race will also not vote for Clinton because she is female. Those voters will go to Edwards (and there was some indication of this in the South Carolina returns).

Maybe, but I don't see Edwards as a player. More like a rich silky pony wannabe that few take seriously.

Usually the blacks have no where to go when the rat bus backs over them time and again. But given a choice between bubbas white wench offering an extra meal on the plantation if they work hard, and oblama, I think the choice has already been made!!

Even after all that they still have to show up at the polls. by

I posted a couple of weeks ago that this Obama/Hillary feud (which continues to get more vicious) might leave enough opening for the greasy little pig Edwards to slip through.

And those same voters wouldn't vote for a Mormon if it's Mitt vs. either Obama or Hillary, so they'd stay home.  But if it's McCain vs. either one of them they can probably see their way clear to vote for him, so long as the immigration issue is sufficiently suppressed by the MSM.  I think Hillary or Obama would still trounce McCain, but the demographic you're talking about would vote for him.

I think Romney has the best chance against either Obama or Hillary in the general.
