Reagan looked, moved, and sounded very fit and emotionally stable indeed. He ran 20 years younger than his true age. Obama looks fit and healthy, but he lacks the maturity that most voters are looking for in a president. McCain looks depleted and fragile and sounds like a cranky old man about to chase the neighborhood kids off his yard with a shotgun.
Romney is more like Reagan than any of the other candidates in displaying that fine, winning balance of looks and maturity. Thank you for making my point.

“All I can picture in my mind is three weeks ago Rudy was pulling in well over a 1,000 people at rallys, before the other candidates even showed their faces in Florida. I could picture him saying, “OK you guys, leave here today, and go directly to your polling place (which opened already) and vote for me.’”
One problem with your scenario. Early voting, by Florida law, doesn’t open until 15 days before an election, and Rudy had already slipped to within the margin of error in most polls by January 14th.

“I so disappointed about Fox News being in the tank for McCain.”
Hannity was defending Romney big time last night; he was heavily down on McCain.

Immigration is seen as the top issue by just 12% of Floridas Likely Republican Primary Voters, but they overwhelmingly favor Romney over McCain by a 63% to 7% margin. That demographic alone gives Romney a full 6 %pts over mcCain.
63%-7% = 56% margin x .12 of all polled = 6.72%
