All of the Washington establishment endorsements for McCain is validating Romney's claim that he is the outsider and agent of change who wants to "fix Washington", and that McCain is the broken establishment's candidate. McCain's high profile endorsements from fatcat GOP Senators and open-borders governors like Florida's Governor Crist may do more to harm him than anything else.
I think you're right. Getting endorsements from liberal entities when your conservative credentials are already in question doesn't help.

I almost forgot to mention all of McCain’s endorsements from the New York Times and the liberal establishment media elite.
Romney is about to be poised to roll through Super-Tuesday as the Reaganesque outsider.
