As usual..the press only tells part of the story to raise sympathy.
We are headed to AZ in Mar. So we will see first hand how this is going. The construction industry was already in the tank. So, it is not surprising that they are shedding people. Welders have always been in short supply and that is solved with PAY. A labor shortage means higher pay checks and happier middle class families. Yeah a certified welder was a middle class job before the influx of illegals.
Failure to pay state and fed withholding is a federal crime..that is one they enforce..so big companies can’t go black cash.
