Ditto that. Unfortunately, the knee jerkers will jump on in and say this is pushing Mexican (ie illegal) culture, even though Mariachi has been part of Texas culture as long as there was a Texas.

Mariachi has been part of Texas culture as long as there was a Texas.Not exactly. Mariachi apparently dates from roughly the time of Maximilian, or about the time of our Civil War.

Gee 45 posts and not one post denigrating Mariachi music as "illegal " culture.
The knee jerkers are those who forget it's about breaking the law, not the color (or the music they enjoy)of the person who breaks it
