I read your “About” page. Readss like you’re a shrink, so I would like to ask you about Huckabee’s son, David.

David, at age 15/16, finds a starving mangy dog at a Boy Scout Camp. He hangs the dog to kill it, but is doesn’t die. So he stabs it with a knife, but that still doesn’t kill. So he stones the tortured dog to death.

Does this sound like someone well down the path of a psychopthic killer?

LOL - No, I’m not a shrink. However, I do know sociopathic behavior. Your question about cruelty to animals is a significant marker for this disease. In the section entitled “Early Childhood Behavior” this exact trait is discussed.

A short quote “Early cruelty to animals is usually a sign of serious emotional or behavioral problems. Cruelty to other children—including siblings—is often part of the young psychopaths’s inability to experience the sort of empathy that checks normal people’s impulses to inflict pain, even when enraged.”

So, in answer to your question - It could be and anyone who exhibits this behavior needs immediate counseling at the least.
