Yes we need to be paying much attention to history and general cultural behavior of Iran. Consider Iran has long considered suicide attacks as justified under Islamic/Sharia teachings.
So they will build many bombs and commit national suicide when they attack Israel in a nuclear first strike. If such an attack occurs in the next few short years it will collapse the already strained global financial system. Countries like Russia supply the ways and means for Iran to commit suicide in such fashion and must be held to account. The President gets credit for calling the Russians on this but words alone are not enough. Iran with a big, bloody nose may change their attitude. Their attitude did change when Reagen sunk 1/3 of their fleet in 1987. They go the point for awhile. They need to get the point again.
