Man Arrested Outside White House

WASHINGTON, (AP) -- A man who made threats against President Bush and had a suspicious package was arrested Monday outside the north fence of the White House, the Secret Service said.

An elitist fence, at the very least.

"We, The People" need to more vociferously question why the White House gets a really good fence, but "our house" (these United States) doesn't.

It is interesting but I recently saw a program on TV which said the ancient Kings and Queens of England (for example Henry the VIIIth) had almost no privacy. Common people were allowed to roam the Kings palace at will. Almost sounds like our royalty are more royal than theirs.
