You're absolutely right in that the state of the economy isn't a presidential responsibility and Bush shouldn't be held accountable.
Our nation's borders and sovereignty is, however, a defined responsibility yet Bush has expended more capital and the blood of our citizen warriors to secure the borders and sovereignty of other nations than our own.
How can anyone, without spewing political talking points in blind allegiance, square that?
