I think he was referring to Rush’s 3 forms of conservatism schtick.

You have 3. Fiscal, Social and Neocon. With the candidates remaining you are not going to get all three qualities. So basically, we already know the lib has none. At least McCain is pro-life and for the war effort. Romney might not even have those qualities so theoretically McCain is more Conservative then Romney.

I’m not sure. Ann Coulter has a point - at least with a Dem Pres, the Repubs would fight it - as opposed to what has often happened with Bush for example. McCain though seems to relish backstabbing conservatives. I’m really torn on him.

I’m no fan of McCain, but if the Democrats take the presidency and congress, in eight years the country will be unrecognizable. I’d vote for Ron Paul rather than stay home next election day.

Dont bash Romney like that.
He will appoint Scalia/Thomas/Alito/Roberts type justices.
He is prolife and did prolife things as Governor.
He is rock solid behind Bush’s GWOT policies - MORE SO than McCain!!

Part of the reason conservatives are losing is that conservatives themselve fragged the one guy who came to them as a convert and seeking their support.

As a result, RINOs who give us the finger win.

McCain = traitor to the cause
Romney = convert to the cause

That's a fair question. I don't really have an answer for it at this time.

The larger question for me is why should I reward John McCain with my vote after he has spent years urinating on the conservative base?

I don't know yet, but I might just vote third party this time around. I'm getting sick and tired of the GOP's excuses, cowardice, incompetence, and stupidity.
