Romney was in charge of a very successful hedge fund that was partnered with another concern whick made a bid for Clear Channel. It’s called business.
There was never any wrong doing associated with Romney fund.

I don’t see talk radio as being for Romney. The only reason Rush went off on Huck, is because Hucks camp hit Rush first.

Poor judgement from the Huck camp.

However, none of these people tout Romney over anyone else.

I don’t think you’re thinking along the same lines I am. Here’s my worst-case scenario:

1. Dem wins (Mrs. Impeached President).
2. More Dems in both houses.
3. Republicans completely cave and move to the left of center
4. Fairness Doctrine.
5. Socialized Medicine
6. Amnesty
7. Leftists judges.
8. Punitive taxation of business
9. Businesses leave in droves as they already have enough foreign operations in place to make the switch
10. Massive unemployment
11. Stocks plunge.
12. Dollar fails.
13. Massive military cuts
14. ChiComs make their move to dominate the Pacific
15. War
16. We lose

You need to think of Mrs. BJc as a Chavez, only without Chavez' smooth, tight skin. With her and a Dem congress and senate, she can push through the judges and amnesty. In 1980, Reagan did not have 20 million sudden Democrats to vote against him. A Hillary win backed by the Reps moving to the Left of center, guarantee Dems in power for at least one decade. The Leftists on the benches supporting such things as McCain-Feingold (and many more such pieces of legislation that guarantee those in power remain in power), we may very well see Dem control of this country until it is nearly completely Socialized.

If Hillary takes over, make no mistake, she will be a tyrant. And one thing tyrants never do is rest easily. She will kill talk radio. McCain will probably do the same because he is a Clinton shadow, as George Will said, not only in political tactic, but in ideology as well.

Well, I do agree that Hillary and McCain will do the same thing. But you see, we have no one left other than Huck who plays MCCains spoiler boy, or Mitt, who will never win anyway.

I think the Clinton camp is doing everything they can to marginalize Romney because they fear him the most.

He’s a Republican who won in (very) liberal Massachusetts.
He has executive experience both in the private sector and in government.
He oversaw and implemented a government-run healthcare system.

I’m no Romney fan (he’s too liberal for my tastes, though I think he is more conservative than the others, except Thompson and Hunter), but I do think if it were him against Hussein or Mrs. Filegate, Romney would win.

Would it be a first (compared to first woman or first black)? It sure would, in one sense. He’d be the first non-Christian. At least, the last time I spoke with a Mormon, he denied that they were Christians though Jesus’ teachings were a core part of their theology.

You know, I believe this religious battle has opened the door for McCain. I don’t know how this party ever survived. My goodness, did Mormans vote for Christians or is that something Mormans are trying to force on the GOP voter just this year?

I really wonder.

I don’t like any of these guys really. As far as I am concerned, none of them will do.

Mormons have traditionally been conservative and Republican. The guy I was mentioning switched over to Kerry in 04 because he couldn’t stand Bush. But I don’t think that was because of his religion, rather he personally was drifting to the center a bit and was concerned about how the world perceives us and though Kerry could fix the image.
