In 1996, Congress signed into law the Personal Responsibility & Work Opportunities Reconciliation Act, or “welfare reform.” Attached was the provision, later set out in Section 510(b) of Title V of the Social Security Act, appropriating $250 million dollars over five years for state initiatives promoting sexual abstinence outside of marriage as the only acceptable standard of behavior for young people.

Why does this article close by blaming Bush? >_>... Seems he’s the scapegoat of choice at the moment.

My thinking is the schools CAN be reasonably objective in grades K-5-6. I don’t mind critical thinking skills to be taught, but it has to be by someone other than the govt, I agree!

But until that day comes we have to put a stop to cultural eroison and this madness hijacked by the “progressive secularists”!

Since the schools can’t teach the subject maybe they should take all their sex-education dollars and put them towards things like teaching the kids to read, write, and do basic math without help from the McDonald’s cash register.

The government has no business teaching morality or ethics until they stop teaching these important issues from an unstable foundation of amoral evolutionary secular humanism.

That is the official liberal state religion and the liberals illegally indoctrinate all students each and every day with this liberal amoral bile.

When LBJ convinced the public that everything in life would always be fair and started borrowing from the SS trust fund to fund the Vietnam War and increased welfare roles of the feds??
