Unless we give it to them...? By running away from the election because we’re in a snit? That’ll do it alright. Just hand it to them and make it easy for ‘em.

If you don’t like who you’re fighting with, feel free to leave the field or join the enemy, but you DON’T get to pretend you’re doing our side any favors, either way.

IMHO :-)

I have run for office 4 times and was just asked to run for congress against a 28 year liberal incumbent and they expect me to fund this myself in a district that is 70% Dem, I don’t think so, I refuse to be a sacricial lamb on my dime, I don’t have any more dimes to give.

I co founded Primary Challenge where we put up 9 candidates to challenge the Erie County Legislature, I founded New York Coalition.org where we sought out candidates to challenge the NY legislators in Albany in Primaries, I co founded Free Buffalo/free New York where we have gone into communities and dissected budgets, sought out and exposed corruption and proposed ways to cut to lower taxes, I have more vocal in Erie County Politics than any other person I know or have been associated with. I am currently fighting to remove Tolls from the Grand Island Bridges and taking on the New York State Thruway Authority, I have been holding politicians accountable for years and years.

What has my own Party done to help the cause? NOTHING! We bust our a$$es to do the right thing just so they can use and abuse us and put up candidates that make me want to stay in bed for instead of going to vote.

Think I’ve done enough? Want to know more.

I am surrounded by either RINO’s or liberal demonrats and get no help in the battles I have been waging. Time for a revolution, time to lock and load.

The RINOS are at fault -- not me, and not the many conservatives that are willing to hold out for more.

Damn them! They should stop shitting on us and then holding our noses to it.

"If you don't vote for me (a liberal in disguise) you'll elect Hillary, an out-of-the-closet liberal"

I'm not voting for them anymore and I won't be guilty if a goddam liberal republican gets elected.

They should change their politics or expect voters to go elsewhere.

It was impied.

Son of Cain (McCain) at the least is pro military. Hillary will not support the GWOT.

It was implied that if Hillary wins, because conservatives sit out, that it would be like spitting in the troops face.

And that would not be my fault, but the RINOs that let us and them down.

” It was implied that if Hillary wins, because conservatives sit out, that it would be like spitting in the troops face”

That wasn’t implied. That is FACT and if you aren’t struggling with that fact you are lacking character. I’m wrestling with it to the point that it’s exhausting me.....

It’s not my intention to ‘blame’. You were the one who used the movie Braveheart to make a point. As it happens to be my favorite movie....I chose to refer to some of the other profound points of the story as well. There are a plethora of similarities found in our current situation, actually.

At the moment, I would take immense pleasure in a nationally organized kilt flipping.....

If Hillary wins because me, and many others, don't vote for Son of Cain, it won't be my fault.

I'm not a waterboy for the republicans. It's not my job to elect them. It's their job to be electable. If they don't get elected that's their fault and they have spit on the troops.

You are wrong sir....lives have been lost for our right to vote. We have been given a Republic. We do NOT have a Constitutional RIGHT to be *presented* with acceptable candidates. If we are disgusted with our options, we DO have a RIGHT to back away from our keyboards and go out into our communities to recruit the candidates of OUR choice. We ALSO have a RIGHT to educate our future voters when our public schools are failing to.

Why are we in this mess? Because WE have been derelict in our duty of taking responsibility for the situation. This is a government OF THE PEOPLE. You & me....

I’m rather weary of the pathetic ‘victim syndrome’ and temper tantrums being displayed.

People are entitled to exercise their RIGHT to vote any way they see fit.

I’m entitled to my opinion of THEIR decision.

“If they don’t get elected that’s their fault and they have spit on the troops.”

It’s YOUR vote......or not.

So you have dropped out and will not be using the vote that is your birthright as an American, the vote that others have fought to maintain. You must feel so special. Are you just going to roll over and play dead ?????

Not voting IS my vote. Its called NONE OF THE ABOVE!

Hillary loves ya , Man.

Hillary doesn't know me well enough to love me, but I am certain she loves John McCain. After all, McCain is her biggest fan. In fact I bet he will not even feel bad after she kicks his ass in a landslide November 4th because he believes she would make a great president.

So while you are holding your nose pretending to be sanctimonious and exercise your God given right to vote for the Ass Clown McNutt, I will be voting for NONE OF THE ABOVE in the comfort of my own home.

In the primary I’m voting for Romney and trying to get Republicans to wake up. Neither of us like McCain - so why aren’t we both working to get someone else in there as our candidate? I’m talking to relatives and friends all over the country about Romney who is not perfect or even near perfect. I at least agree with Romney most of the time - not all of the time - which makes him better than McCain, Obama or Hillary.

Some of us have principles we won’t violate.

I will be at the polls in November, I will vote for my wonderful conservative Rep, and I will write in Fred Thompson.

If you want to live in a fantasy world and vote for Fred, I hope you enjoy the next 8 years with Hillary - you will be contributing to her success.

You are not the only person with principles - I feel a responsibility to help get the best person possible into the White House. Choices right now are awful except for Mitt Romney who is tolerable in some areas and good in others. Better to have 8 years of tolerable than 8 years of totally awful. You can whine and cry because our candidate is not perfect but we have to work with what we’ve got.

We also have to remember how important it is to get a conservative congress in there. I’m glad you are voting for your congressman at least.

Don’t give me that “You’re voting for Hillary Clinton” crap.

Even if I bought into it, which I don’t, Georgia will NOT go for Romney under any circumstances, and I don’t see any difference between McCain and the Rats, so I don’t care what happens in November.

The worst part of a McCain Presidency is that the Republican’s would get blamed for the catasrophic results of the policies he’s willing to implement.

I’m with you. I’m voting.

I can understand why FReepers have some hatred for McCain, Huckabee, or Romney. They have issues.

BUT, to carry that over to November and act as though any one of them is somehow the equivalent of Obama or Hilary is nuts.

I still laugh to myself when Rush and others would defend some of his tactics as being so smart even we don’t understand them.

Well you are going to really care about what happens in Washington DC in January.

I understand you are frustrated. I am too, but I’m not giving up and letting McCain, Obama, Hillary take over without a fight.

Don’t give up the ship, folks ! We have to fight the liberals at every level.
