To: Bulldawg Fan
As I understand it, the bill is not dead, but the amendment that would have removed the vague, confusing clause of the CCW law that forbids carrying at what the law calls “public gatherings” was defeated. That clause has been interpreted in numerous different ways by different judges ever since it was made part of the GA CC law. I can’t understand how any legislator could be so stupid or so closed minded that he or she can't see the problem with that vague clause.

The bill is dead in the sense that it almost certainly wont be acted on. Technically, it is alive until the end of the session in April.
