I have been waiting to see Katyn since last September. Anyone know what the release plans are for teh USA?

Well, the Oscars play a big role when it comes to release schedules. A nomination alone for the the foreign movie Oscar usually means at least a limited cinematical release and a wide release on DVD / Video. E.g. 2004's "Downfall".

Worst case scenario: You'll have to rent it from Amazon.
