“Building Collapse In Harlem Halts All Metro-North Service”
March 04, 2008

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “A building collapse near 124th Street and Park Avenue in Harlem this afternoon has suspended Metro-North train service into and out of Grand Central.”

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “It appears the building was vacant, according to firefighters at the scene. No injuries have been reported. It is unclear what caused the collapse or how bad the damage is.

A deputy fire chief says the building may be torn down if the Department of Buildings thinks that is what is needed.

Some streets in the area have also been closed.”
